Why "OOOPS" Academy?

The name "OOOPS" is intentionally misspelled. The extra "O" represents one more opportunity—one more chance to learn, grow, try again and encourage resilience plus productive struggle. At OOOPS Academy, mistakes are never failures. They are invitations to learn, understand and make better.

Every "OOOPS!" becomes an opportunity to pause, think, adjust and discover something new. Perfection is never the goal—- Growing is!

Meet Ms. Hopewell

Ms. Hopewell is not simply a teacher at OOOPS Academy. She is a guide. She notices. She listens. She wonders. She asks thoughtful questions, validates feelings and helps children discover answers for themselves—never with embarrassment or shame.

Instead of: "Don't be scared."
She asks: "I wonder what your thoughts are showing you?"

Before the first lesson begins, something bigger is already happening — a child is wondering and learning who they are in the world.

OOOPS Academy is created for children, but equally valuable for the adults who care for and teach them. Parents, grandparents, caregivers and educators often face the same question: "How do I help a child through this?" Every episode models developmentally appropriate language and emotionally respectful strategies to help the child. How? Every episode closes with guided questions that children explore together with their teacher or caregiver — reflecting on what they wondered about and finding a new way to think about it — so the fear or anxiety gently fades. Because at OOOPS Academy, a mistake is never the end of the story. It's where the best part of learning begins.

A teacher with 30 years of experience across grades K–8 noticed a gap that no curriculum was filling — the unwritten rules of childhood. How do you say goodbye to mom at drop-off without falling apart? How do you make a friend? What do you do when you make a mistake? These aren't tested on report cards, but they shape everything.
